So…
I realized it’s getting close to a) Winter Break (OMGYESFINALLYSTAR :star:!) and b) the end of the year. The combination of these two things always makes me want to use up all of my holds at the public library, because, well, why not? I mean… they’re free. And I have the time to read.
So now I will have waiting for me (hopefully right after exams are over):
The Penelopiad, Margaret Atwood.
Enchantment, Orson Scott Card.
L’A~(c)ternitA~(c) n’est pas de trop, FranA~ois Cheng.
Le complexe de Di, Sijie Dai.
Balzac et la petite tailleuse chinoise, Sijie Dai.
Memoirs of a Geisha, Arthur Golden.
Le coeur est un muscle involontaire, Monique Proulx.
– Yes, again. I swear I WILL finish it this year.
Harry Potter et la chambre des secrets, JK Rowling.
Uncle Tungsten, Oliver Sacks.
Anyone else have recommendations?
OH, and for those of you who were in New Shoots grade… 9, I think, go and find Intimate Distances. It reminds me of The Joy Luck Club, in a way.
Oh, and I still have to read: I. Another. The Space Between (Jamie Reid).
//EDIT: Oh, and another random thing. Remember the analytical lab of doom? DOOM?!! Lab marks are out 😀 And as it turns out, 91% :biggrin: I swear my TA marked my last lab reports easier after I told him I was worried about failing @_@;;
Now, my organic TA had better not fail me or he’ll be getting some very nasty viruses in his email :devil:
