I have a friend on LJ who writes about half of his entries bullet-point style, so I think I’ll take a page out of his book and apply that here. It makes things easier for me, anyway.

  • I wish I knew more about [iksi:d]. Actually listening to their music, I realize I’d like to hear more.
  • I’m so glad I don’t have my organic lab tomorrow.
  • I bought myself a little timer so that I can actually ration my studying properly. I find that it helps to break things up into chunks and work on them a bit at a time rather than try for a marathon study session of three hours. It keeps my brain happy, anyway. Until I decide to take a nap. It always turns into a four-hour nap. I’m terrible. I need to drink coffee or something. Oh wait, my mom’s Hello Kitty tea does a decent job keeping me awake.
  • I love foobar2000 and how it makes it so easy to input info into mp3 tags. What I don’t like is iTunes, which can’t read these properly for some reason and displays ???? ????????? instead.
  • Speaking of ????, she has the same birthday as Sarah! 😯
  • I have one week until my first final. :nosey:
  • I love French
  • I wish that finals weren’t coming up so soon. Now that I’ve been galvanized into semi-decent work habits, I find I’m enjoying my classes a lot more. I also just enjoy attending the lectures of some of my profs. Actually, I enjoy all of them, except matrix algebra. I swear this is true. I love going to class; I hate writing tests.

Who has the same B-day as me? (:faint: I’m gonna be OLD in a few months!) Ooh … I was studying for my vertebrates lab exam yesterday and I FELL ASLEEP before I got to the last lab on the brain and inner ear! So I crammed that this morning … and it went okay.

Cat Says:

Glad to hear it 😉 Psh, “okay,” you probably aced it

Oh, the birthday thing: Maki Yano.

I’m also having that nap problem! It’s such a horrible cycle…first, I stay up late working on something, then I get home exhausted and can’t focus until I take a little nap, but the little nap turns into a long one and then I can’t sleep at night…and then it continues

Anthony Says:

Hmm, my problem seems to be that I sleep too much which makes me tired during the day, which then makes me sleep even more. I think this is because my eyes get tired from reading and staring at the computer too much, but the rest of me isn’t really tired.

Bobby Says:

I have a different sort of nap problem. I’ll be taking a nap on the bus ride home and I’ll sleep right through my stop. I haven’t slept right through into Burnaby yet, but one time I did wake up to the 25 bus turning left from Kingsway onto Nanaimo, which is a very large number of stops past where I usually get off the bus.

Mike Says:

Wow, Fraser/Nanaimo, major harshness. I can’t afford to take naps, knowing full well I won’t wake up. I can’t afford being awake either, knowing full well I won’t study.

Megan Says:

Wow, it’s been awhile since I visited your blog…
So hello!! Are you also (suffering) in organic chemistry? My o-chem final is thursday and my brain is FRIED. Organic chemistry makes me hostile. I’ll probably pull an all-nighter tonight and tomorrow for that evil class.

My physics final is tomorrow. Obviously I’m taking a break to do a little web surfing…hehe, yay for procrastination! I should try your timer idea.

Good luck on your finals! Makenai!
