Let&#8217;s just say they&#8217;re a little harder than I had expected. >.>; French had a lot of idiomatic expressions I didn&#8217;t know, and I&#8217;m still unsure on a decent French definition of &#8220;inconditionnel.&#8221; And us poor HLs had four texts to deal with! Four! T_T Actually, it wasn&#8217;t all that bad. I could make educated guesses when necessary. English was your typical &#8220;oh, let&#8217;s talk about literary devices&#8221; dealy. Not bad. I had plenty of time but refused to proofread it. I hate proofreading my own things.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow is history&#8230; AAAHH! HISTORY!! AHHH!!<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>On the flip side, there is NOTHING funnier than &#8220;Learn (language)&#8221; when you are a native speaker of said language.<\/p>\n<p>For example, I&#8217;m listening to a Cantonese conversation thingy-ma-bob right now. Look! I&#8217;ll translate the thing!<\/p>\n<p>Man: Excuse me, Miss, do you know English?<br \/>\nWoman: I don&#8217;t understand it. I don&#8217;t understand English.<br \/>\nMan: I can understand a little Cantonese.<br \/>\nWoman: Are you American?<br \/>\nMan: Yes. I am American.<\/p>\n<p>O-hohohoho. I am so smart. I am also looking forward to hearing the rest of this, so I can feel linguistically superior.
