This song needs to be sung during karaoke! >D<br \/>\n<blockquote><p>\u96ea\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u3000\u305f\u3060\u9759\u304b\u306b<br \/>\n\u964d\u308a\u7a4d\u3082\u308a\u3000\u3064\u3065\u3051\u3066\u3086\u304f<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>Yuko Sasaki &#8211; Pure Snow<br \/>I could never leave this one out. It&#8217;s just too tied up in winter, despite being syrupy and angsty at the same time.<br \/>\n<blockquote><p>Pure Snow\u3000Pure Heart\u3000\u3075\u305f\u308a\u51fa\u9022\u3063\u305f\u65e5\u3082\u3000\u96ea\u304c\u964d\u3063\u3066\u3044\u305f<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>Ayumi Hamasaki &#8211; CAROLS<br \/>I&#8217;m not a big fan of Ayu (never followed her too much because of her nasally voice) but I did appreciate the slightly more rockish feel she had going with her newer albums. Not that I&#8217;ve actually listened to anything since <em>Memorial Address<\/em>, mind you.<br \/>\n<blockquote><p>\u767d\u3044\u96ea\u304c\u8857\u3092\u67d3\u3081\u308b\u9803\u306b\u3082<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>Dreams Come True &#8211; Winter Song<br \/>The only English song on the CD (and predictably, sung by a J-pop group). It&#8217;s kind of odd souding, to be honest.<br \/>\n<blockquote><p>my love for you is deeper than the deepest snows of winter<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>Ayumi Hamasaki &#8211; Powder Snow<br \/>Power ballad kind of thing from Ayu. Also very angsty!<br \/>\n<blockquote><p>\u5927\u58f0\u3067\u53eb\u3093\u3067\u3082\u3044\u3044?<br \/>\n\u96ea\u6b62\u3080\u307e\u3067<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>Gackt &#8211; 12\u6708\u306eLove Song<br \/>He needs to make a French version. That is all. I mean, he&#8217;s sung in Japanese, Korean, English, and Mandarin&#8230; I&#8217;d be rather amused to see a Cantonese version, too.<br \/>\n<blockquote><p>\u898b\u4e0a\u3052\u305f\u7a7a\u306b\u7c89\u96ea\u304c\u821e\u3044\u964d\u308a\u3066\u3044\u305f<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>CORE OF SOUL &#8211; \u7c89\u96ea\u306e\u304d\u3082\u3061<br \/>It&#8217;s not a CD mix from Catherine without a CORE OF SOUL song, after all. This isn&#8217;t one of my favourites from them but does evoke sitting in front of a warm fire at a ski lodge.<br \/>\n<blockquote><p>\u3057\u3093\u3057\u3093\u3068\u3064\u3082\u308b<br \/>\n\u3057\u3093\u3057\u3093\u3068\u3064\u3082\u308b<br \/>\n\u7c89\u96ea<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>Garnet Crow &#8211; Crier Girl, Crier Boy ~ice cold sky~<br \/>A laid-back track from this group which has been compared to COS (they&#8217;re even more laid back, though&#8230;) Also the first song where I can&#8217;t find a reference to snow in the lyrics! \ud83d\ude41<br \/>\n<blockquote><p>Winter night, ice cold sky<br \/>\n\u661f\u7a7a \u771f\u51ac\u306e\u82b1\u706b\u304c<br \/>\n\u54b2\u3044\u305f\u30b9\u30af\u30ea\u30fc\u30f3\u307f\u305f\u3044\u3067<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;VE &#8211; Last Regrets<br \/>Recommended by Naddie, and fits very well. It is, however, the second song not to refer to snow. \ud83d\ude41<br \/>\n<blockquote><p>\u4f4e\u3044\u96f2<br \/>\n\u98a8\u3092\u5f85\u3064\u9759\u3051\u3055<br \/>\n\u3082\u3046 \u805e\u3053\u3048\u306a\u3044<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>Mai Kuraki &#8211; Winter*Swear<br \/>A lot more upbeat than most of the songs on this compilation, some light dancy-type pop.<br \/>\n<blockquote><p>Say you want me<br \/>\nI want you hold me<br \/>\n\u540c\u3058\u96ea\u306e\u8857\u306b<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I&#8217;m loving the English grammar in there, too.<\/li>\n<li>Mika Nakashima &#8211; \u96ea\u306e\u83ef<br \/>Lots of versions of this exist, too&#8211;I think I opted for the original. It&#8217;s a beautiful ballad.<br \/>\n<blockquote><p>\u4eca\u5e74, \u6700\u521d\u96ea\u306e\u83ef\u3092<br \/>\n2\u4eba\u5bc4\u308a\u6dfb\u3063\u3066<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>SPEED &#8211; White Love (Christmas Standard)<br \/>A hahaha. Very old, I&#8217;m sure. With vocals this time! My favourite version of this snow is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=IfZ9Jg665Wg\">Route:L version<\/a>, which is remixed to be a lot faster and features male vocals. Didn&#8217;t really fit in the mix, though.<br \/>\n<blockquote><p>\u96ea\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u3000\u305f\u3060\u9759\u304b\u306b<br \/>\n\u964d\u308a\u7a4d\u3082\u308a\u3000\u3064\u3065\u3051\u3066\u3086\u304f<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>Asuca Hayashi &#8211; snowdrop<br \/>I haven&#8217;t listened to Asuca much lately&#8230; Anyway, for this excerpt before, I didn&#8217;t know what a \u3060\u308b\u307e was, so I looked it up&#8230; and basically fell over when I saw that one of the definitions is &#8220;prostitute.&#8221; (This snow was featured as NHK&#8217;s &#8220;Minna no Uta&#8221; (Everyone&#8217;s Song) and I thought that surely, surely a song that talks about prostitution is not something that parents would want their kids to hear. Oh, and just for good measure, that bear song from Hikki? It&#8217;s also a Minna no Uta song.)
