I thought I&#8217;d keep it here for posterity, with a few modifications.<\/p>\n<p>Recipe for &#8220;gemtiger&#8221;:<\/p>\n<p>2 cups intelligence<br \/>\n(It is best to find a variety <del>which specializes<\/del> <ins>is concentrated<\/ins> in trivia and miscellaneous booksmarts with a smattering of a sense of direction.)<\/p>\n<p>1 cup eccentricity<br \/>\n(The author prefers to use Neko brand from imported from Asia. Failing that, the stuff in your local Chinatown will do just as well.)<\/p>\n<p>2 cups of assorted music<br \/>\n(Best if imported from Japan with influences from CORE OF SOUL, <del>Maaya Sakamoto, <\/del>Maki Yano, Hikaru Utada, and <del>m-flo<\/del><ins>MONKEY MAJIK<\/ins>. Add a splash of Vienna Teng for more authenticity. A dash of francophone tunes from KYO and Les Cowboys Fringants will add a subtle nuance.)<\/p>\n<p>3 tablespoons of laughter<br \/>\n(It should, optimally, leave one breathless. Don&#8217;t skimp.)<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup of assorted talents<br \/>\n(Any brand will do, in any proportion. Artistic ones, however, will result in a product slightly different from pictured.)<\/p>\n<p>Maple syrup to taste<br \/>\n(For that true Canadian flavour. Make sure it&#8217;s from Qu\u00e9bec.)<\/p>\n<p>One sprig of Domo-kun<br \/>\n(For garnish.)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.<\/p>\n<p>2. Combine intelligence and eccentricity in a bowl. Cream until light and fluffy.<\/p>\n<p>3. Slowly stir in music, mixing well.<\/p>\n<p>4. Add laughter to the mix.<\/p>\n<p>5. Fold in assorted talent.<\/p>\n<p>6. Pour mixture into a <ins>lined<\/ins> muffin tin.<\/p>\n<p>7. Bake for 20 minutes or until just beginning to turn golden brown.<\/p>\n<p>8.
