Debut album, people! I am excited 🙂

In no particular order:

• No one does “FULL MOON PRAYER” better than Fukiko Nakamura. Case in point: Youtube clip of COS performing live Far less wince-inducing than Nami Tamaki’s performance.
• Work is more and less stressful than school at the same time. I don’t know. I’m a little perdu at the moment. Maybe more than a little.
• Nachos are delicious 😀
• Note to self: lab book needs catching up. Also, processing of latest HPLC data needs to be done. Also, coordinate with Brian re: spectra (not “spectrums”) for new compounds.
• Jigglypuff is cute. But do you know what’s even cuter? Kirby as Jigglypuff.
• I have re-discovered my love for Dvorak. Anyone up for a game witht the Paranoia or Programming decks? (I plan to print out the “ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US” deck as well one day. It has pictures! :D)

So a new bunch of co-op students have started, and it turns out a couple of them are IB alumni. I think this is way beyond cool, but that’s only because I love the IBO. XD

One of them went to an international school, so very naturally, my thoughts turned to Fukiko Nakamura, who was also a student at an international school. It turns out that the (ex-)vocalist of CORE OF SOUL may have been an IB student too! This would just be pure awesome for completely irrational reasons 😀

It has been far too long since I made a layout. Does it show :D?

Anyway, this is really the first time that I have customized a WordPress theme to my liking. The Kaguya theme was styling, more or less, but this one is a bit more adventurous for me. It took a while, but now I’m not nearly as intimidated (to be honest, that fluid center column was far more hassle than it was worth. I still don’t understand why Firefox doesn’t understand the concept of box within box leading to containing box stretching to fit contained box.)

Well, ladies and gentlemen, at 7:15 am this morning, I finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. For those of you keeping track: Yes, I have finally pulled an all-nighter. XD

Coincidentally, I enjoyed the book. 😀

*bemoans the fact that she is sick on her birthday*

On the other hand, I do get to eat green tea ice cream cake.

I was sorting through papers in my room when I stumbled across this poem we looked at briefly in my intro to French lit class, and it seems oddly appropriate for my mood today:

too busy to write anything about the trip or the concert and in any case I’d like to do it in French which will take a little bit of time time that I don’t have although time is money but hey I don’t have much of that either at the moment I’m dreading my credit card bill anyway I really should get back to my assignment I can’t very well write a letter to Joe Schmo the customer service representative can I?

Actually, the rumours are true: Vienna Teng is an incredibly lovely, gracious, and talented person.

I’m about to spend $70+ dollars on three CDs. Of course, they are CORE OF SOUL CDs, so that justifies the cost.

I don’t want to explain to my mother why she’ll have to pay the customs fee for me, though… >_<
