I got into an argument today about Canada vs. America. I am ashamed to say that I could not defend my country :'( I still wouldn’t want to live in the U.S.A., though. No offense to any Americans, I’m sure most of you are very nice people ^_^ Not all, though, since this guy is one of the biggest jerks I have ever met. So I can’t make a generalization like that. Anyway, all generalizations are false. (Yeah. Try and figure THAT one out.)
Back to the topic at hand… I don’t fancy another argument with this guy where he does all the talking. So I’d appreciate it if someone could give me some good arguments to hurl at him. >:D Other than that the US didn’t pay their UN fees for a very very long time (he shot that down) and that Americans are not the most popular people around the world (which was also shot down because he’s the son of a diplomat so he’s better-travelled than I am.)
Erk, and darn it Detroit why did you have to win? Go ‘Canes go… (I can’t believe I’m saying this…)

I forgot to blog the past few days. -_-;; Oh well. I was a bit occupied doing other things. So, perhaps I shall try to catch up today, as today is Friday and I have no homework for tomorrow (yay!)
I’ve had a very uneventful past few days. Except I have many projects assigned. Grr. For example:
English: Write a script detailing a meeting or meetings betweeen Odysseus, Macbeth, and Okonkwo. Yay. Yay. This is supposed to be our final because the regular ones are just too easy, I suppose –;; This is an evil assignment. Absolutely evil. Especially because we have to present.
French: Celebrity interview. I have to memorize my stupid information and check a few points of grammar. *sigh*
Japanese: Next class: quiz on places. Class after: finish town, write paragraph. Class after: oral exam. Class after: written paragraph. In-class.
Math: Chapter 9 test, then review, then pratice final.
Science: one quiz left and then review.
Socials: oral defence on Monday and then we still have to take notes for our final — an in-class essay about Louis Riel. -whee- -_-;;
Yep. That’s my schedule. The only classes WITHOUT finals are PE and International Studies. Yay. Six finals for me, with three on one day. -_-;; I am really not too impressed with that.
Oh, and two new members joined my grep* bloggers ring! 😀 Yay!
Erk, I got my drawing manga book from the library today. It will go nicely with the sketchbook {{link http://phluphel.pitas.com/ Victoria}} gave me. I think I’m referring too many people to {{link http://pitas.com}}. But I like it so who cares?
And no, I didn’t feel like making this an extended entry because everyone must know about my evil evil teachers!

Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! ^_____^ You are all wonderful people!
Today I was very sleepy. VEPY sleepy. Not to the point where I actually slept in class, though. Sorry to disappoint you people. 😀 I just kept yawning, and I kept thinking, “I can’t let the teacher see this.” It was English class but it felt like Socials. Since we’re studying Animal Farm, she was explaining the ins and outs of the Russian Revolution. Today was an extremely uneventful day. Perhaps more so than usual.
And tomorrow I have my Japanese oral presentation. >.> It’s very odd. We’re supposed to show someone around our house. I don’t doubt the reliability of my partner (okay, well, maybe a little bit) but our skit is very odd. For example: (in romaji because I can’t be bothered to download Japanese script)
Me: Koko ga ima desu. (This is the living room.)
Him: Sono terebi wa ookidesu. (That TV is big.)
Me: Kyonen, watashi tachi wa kono terebi wo kaimashita. (Last year, we bought this TV.)
Him: Atarashii to omoiimasu. (I think it is new.)
I told you it was weird. He then goes on to call me a cow because I can’t cook. ^^; And if anyone out there knows Japanese, please correct me! I’m only taking a first year course.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
Yes, I know that was really annoying and obnoxious, but it’s my birthday, so cut me some slack. 😛 I deserve it. Yes, I’m being conceited and vain again. But it’s my birthday! *_*
Sarah gave a very cute collection of stuff ^_^ There’s a cow! I love cows! And Sam got me candy (yum!) and a pencil box which is shiny *_* (in both senses of the word.) Also, some very nice pens. Thanks guys! 😀

What Jelly Belly flavor are you? I’m –

Find your flavor here!
Funny, I never liked those that much. Heck, I didn’t really like jelly beans in general.

I always go to the library too late. Every single book on Riel is out. So, then I look for books on the history of Manitoba. >.> Found a few of those. I must have spent three hours in that one chair just reading. Whoooo. And it’s all the same stuff, over and over again: In other words, boring. And I’m not sure if I should take notes because I know it already.
And I don’t think I’m getting that Venus position. Oh well. If I’m not going to be a good fit on the team, it’s probably better not to be on it at all, right?
Oh! {{linkmo http://majesty.imess.net/ Her Majesty|My Queen Serenity Shrine}} was reviewed by {{link http://www.star-dancer.net/reviews Starlight Reviews}}. It received a silver award! ^o^ Yay! I also got an award from Serenity, because I guess she really liked my site. 😀

We had a “carnival” at our school today. My friend {{linkmo http://sourskittles.pitas.com/ Sam|Oh, bother!}} and I were to run the rubber ducky pond. You know, it’s that sort of game where there are a bunch of ducks in the pond, and people pay to pick one and see what the prize is… depending on the mark, they will get a different prize. It wasn’t too bad, but some things didn’t go too well….

I have a riddle for you all!
There is a word in the English language
in which the first two letters signify a male,
the first three letters signify a female,
the first four signify a great man,
and the whole word, a great woman.
What is the word?

Yay for Sarah’s new {{linkmo http://amora_song.pitas.com/ blog|Amora Song}}!! Blogs are cool and now Sarah has one and I need to add her onto my links list. Surprisingly, this layout didn’t take so long. Maybe I skimped a little on the CSS. Or maybe it’s just the simplicity. {{link http://www.tag-board.com/ tagboard.com}} is pretty neat too. ^_~ Thanks {{link http://mercp.blogspot.com/ Merc-chan}}!!
I don’t suppose Sam wants a blog too….

Sarah will soon have a blog. I am making a layout for her. 😀 And I said soon, not now. So it might not be up for a while. It’s going to be at pitas.com because I think that one is the easiest blogging service. Not to mention you get a sub-domain-like URL! *_* Anyway. I must get working on that layout. But look! I have a quiz!

What bishounen type is your favourite?
By ShoSen of Totally Kawaii!
Oh yes, my
grep* bloggers ring is now up. Except I’ve been bad and haven’t added the code to my page yet ^^;;
