Urge to blog… rising…

I’ve spent the past few hours doing homework after slacking off all weekend. I read Animal Farm, the Socials textbook, working on particles for Japanese, finishing off math homework, and studying for Science. Sound fun? Thought you’d say that. 😀 And the sad part is, it’s not over yet… >.> I won’t have finals until the middle of June. Good thing or bad thing?

I then started working on a layout for my new webring! Except then the program decided to stop responding so I gave up. Grr. I’ll work on it tomorrow.

Well, I just applied for a Venus position at {{link http://www.sailormoon.org/}}. Ee, now I’m really nervous. I hope I didn’t make too much of a fool of myself. >.> Erk, and then I accidentally hit “send” and then “reset.” So I was forced to type the whole thing out again. …I’m really nervous. I don’t know why. You’d think that after all the application forms I’ve filled out, this one would be a piece of cake. Not so. -_-;; Every form is different, and looks for different things.

I have decided that blogs are really wonderful and spiffilicious things *_* So everyone must get one! Yes, that includes people with marquisean (eek), evil, and chocolate leanings. Hockey patriotism as well. (You know who I’m talking about. :PPPP) You all need blogs and I will even make layouts for you! So, go on, I suggest {{link http://www.pitas.com/ pitas.com}} because it’s very simple to use.

Speaking of blogs, I see {{link http://www.hakanai.net/minako/blog/ someone}} got hosted! *_* Yay for Dreamy-san! No more pop-ups! (And you changed my link too. Good for you. I should leave a message like that on pitas.com.)

Oh, and I now want to make a blog team on {{link http://www.sailormoon.org grep*}}. Grr. But, at the same time, I’m waiting for Jen to auction off the Galaxy Defenders team because I need to buy it. For old times’ sake. And she hasn’t yet, so I will just have to keep waiting. *sigh* Maybe making a blog team isn’t such a good idea after all… :-\

But blogs rule over all. Case closed.

I watched a certain children’s cartoon show this morning which featured a (guest) Canadian character. And in defense of my people, I would like to say that we do not talk like that! (Well, most of us, anyway.) Sure, I say “eh?” a lot but it’s not that noticeable!! Kind of. And it’s “about,” not “aboot.” I don’t know a single person who says “aboot.” Heck, I don’t know a single person with that accent. It was a very very odd accent. Not West Coast, to be sure. 😀

Ms. Patton’s going to come in any minute now and talk about Canadian lift, which is some kind of unconcious attempt to imitate the Scottish or Irish accents, which have a sort of sing-song lilt. Except when Canadians do it it doesn’t turn out and it just sounds like questions are being asked and then ended suddenly. I actually forget ^^;;

I forgot to mention that last PE class we had the infamous “Langara Run.” You know, it’s one of those things that are supposed to test your physical fitness? I have no idea what the distance is, but it’s anywhere from 2.6 – 3.2 km. Yep. Fuun. It’s around a golf course… anyway, to give us some incentive, the teacher said she’d waive the six-lap run (another one of the fitness tests) if she thought we all gave our best in this run. 😀 Yay for teachers who are willing do that! Yay! A long weekend! More time to do homework! -_-;; Just kidding. I don’t have THAT much to do this weekend. I might as well work on the {{link http://blinkies.imess.net/ siggy shop}}. Right? I should get the request form up and things. That way, people can actually request 😀 I should also get the collective up at {{link http://gemtiger.pitas.com/}}. It’s not going to be a blog anymore, you know. It’s going to be a small collective-type thing. Frames, of course, so that I can put things from the {{link http://www.fateback.com/ fateback server}} there. And not have to direct link. 😀 Which is always a great thing. Of course, I don’t think anyone has changed their links yet… >.> A collective would permit peole to find their way here though.

I need to find a Clover skin for WinAmp.

Finally, I finished my essay. >.> Footnoting and bibliographizing is hard work, despite what anyone may tell you. (I know I’m making up words. It’s 10pm. Sue me. :PPPPPPP) I looked over my sources and they actually pretty pathetic. Oh well. It was still a lot of research! >:O!! Yes. Oh well. Not to mention by printing out four copies of my paper, I ran OUT of paper. >.> And I only have a title page for the one for my teacher ^^; Oh well. I’m sure he’ll understand. (The reason I have to make four copies is that the second part of the assignment is an oral defence. Other read your paper and then they ask questions about it and then you’re graded on that. Fuuuuuun. Oh well. Mine’s not till June 3rd, luckily. That’s…. a while from now.)

Grr! And I just found out I have to hand another copy in, so I’d better get my friend to print it for me. GRAH! Why do I have to hand in a copy for myself?! IT’S ON MY COMPUTER AND AS SOON AS I GET PAPER I CAN PRINT IT!! GRAH!!!!

(What is this “grah” thing? Is it like *whee*?)

Stupid essay. >.> Sorry for the short post, I’m taking a break from working on my essay! >.> Footnotes! Bibliography! Arguments! **GAH** It’s enough to make a girl go MAD! I will post more as soon as I am satisfied with my essay. Which probably won’t be anytime soon.

I should be working on my Socials essay. I’m not. I’m feeling lazy and procrastinating and I just want school to be over! >:O!! Eck. I think I won’t do anything else on the computer tonight, I think I’ll just edit it by hand (oh, you know what I mean), find all the references, and make sure my arguments are sound. **Tomorrow** I’ll sit down and type everything in. It shouldn’t take too long but I do have some other things on my plate. >.>

I really hate phoning for donations. Sure, I haven’t even tried once yet, but it does feel a little odd to phone people and ask them for stuff. And I still need to phone the office! >.> Grr! Why am I so busy? Maybe I should spend less time online… Eh, that’s probably the answer.

I think I’m just a little bit too obsessed with how shiny greymatter is. (Yes, I know it’s not actually shiny since it’s just a computer program, but shush!)
