Love doesn’t discriminate
Between the sinners and the saints
It takes, and it takes, and it takes
And we keep loving anyway
We laugh and we cry and we break
The dumpster fire that has been 2016 continues raging. Taken as a whole, this year has been a giant disappointment, on a personal level, on a political level, on a global level. There have been some bright spots, of course; there always are.
But I’m ready for 2017 and a new chapter in my life.
