Ah yes. Me and Sarah were discussing love. I think it would be interesting if everyone could put down what they think is love either in their blog, on on my tagboard. You don’t have to…but i would like to know what everyone thinks it is…cuz it is confusing…

Love.

Yes.

Very confusing.

~ LOVE ~

LOVE
It’s my dream,

A beautiful dream
That no-one’s ever seen,
A beautiful deceit
That no-one’s ever noticed,
A beautiful love
That no-one will ever break.

LOVE
Though you’ll laugh,
In the entire world, the most important word.

Now, come close to me.
I’ll sing an endless song.
God, please tell me,
Redder than red, the truest love.

Now, kiss hold me.
Show me love that’s forever.
God, please tell me,
Bluer than blue, the real heart.

LOVE
Everyone says,
But no-one knows its true meaning.
Cannot be grasped alone. So, I want to see it with you.

LOVE
A wonderful person
That makes everyone turn,
A wonderful time
That everyone wants,
A wonderful romance
That everyone dreams of.

LOVE
Can never match true love.

LOVE
Though you’ll laugh,
Will never return, once lost.

LOVE
Though you’ll laugh,
Will never return, once lost.

LOVE
Though you’ll laugh,
To us, the most important word.

LOVE
Hear the whisper of the heart, hear its true voice.
Listen carefully,
Where lies true
Who to give true love.

LOVE
Though you’ll laugh,
In the entire world, the most important word.

Which is a “song” from my manga du jour, CLOVER.

I think love is actually a very simple issue which we have overanalyzed. It’s one of those knowledge by acquaintance things. It’s most certainly inarticulate. I disagree with Michael: it’s not only a primal emotion; love certainly does appeal to the higher faculties of the mind. I like to think that love (as we know it) is a purely human emotion.

Moreover, there are several kinds of love. (Trust Catherine to remember this after reading her cousin’s psychology textbooks. -_-;;) Infatuation and friendship–both are kinds of love, just expressed differently and to different degrees.

I’m not going to try to define love, since “love” carries too many different connotations: “I love you.” “I love you as a friend.” “I love your writing.”

While at core it is a simple issue, we can’t see the forest for the trees.

Catherine’s feeling deep today. It’s because of TOK.

Are feelings knowledge? And if they are, are they knowledge by description, or knowledge by acquaintance? Can feelings ever truly become knowledge by description. If knowledge by acquaintance is neither true nor false, is it truly knowledge? Do feelings necessarily have to be known? Does it matter if they are articulate or inarticulate? If knowledge and experience are not the same, does that mean that feelings are not knowledge? Can you actually KNOW what you are feeling? And if you can’t, then are feelings false? Are they merely a belief that one holds? Perhaps you can know if you are feeling something–but can you know what EXACTLY you are feeling? And could you describe it to someone else?

Okay, so now I have a base picture, which I really like. Unfortunately I have to add Japanese lryics to that and when I do that, it clutters it up and makes it too busy ;_; The lyrics are the whole point of the layout, though!

WAIT~! Problem solved! New layout should be up in a week or so 😛
