Argh! Busy! Busy! Busy! Updating {{link http://majesty.imess.net/ Her Majesty}}, reading, cleaning my desk, going to the library, and I still haven’t gone to the student employment centre yet. >.> I have Link Crew training tomorrow. But at least I have no homework! 😀

And I don’t feel like blogging, either. pbbbbft.

I WON THE GREP* AUCTION! *_*

I can’t believe it! I just logged in, and I saw that the topic had just been posted to about ten minutes ago. And this is what I saw:
gemtiger had the highest bid on the previous auction (Sailor Galaxy’s Club & Courtiers: directory, topic, URL, other misc. team) at 7000pp and received the files.

*_* I can keep the GD team, I can keep the GD team *_*

Poor Sailorchibisakuya though. She really wanted it too. I don’t know WHAT I’m going to do with the directory, topic, and URL. >.> I was thinking of making a past/future (of Sailormoon) topic, but :PPPP I need more time to think about it.

I won, though, I won *_*

Yes, it is officially declared a boring day by me, Tiggy, effective until the sun doth set.

Oh, I linked Foxie, and everyone please go see {{link http://www.freewebz.com/silentruin/guardian Guardian}}, Chibi Puu’s collective. She has a new layout up!

Oh, darn, I think I forgot to deal with that HM Cards application.

And now for some happier news. Today Sam and I went to our volunteering committment at the Lookout (an organization that provides low-cost housing.) We went there with our volunteering group, and we helped out in the kitchen 😀 First, we had a few problems FINDING the place. There was no big sign, and when we happened upon a building we thought might be it, we were told “no.” So then we saw our leader person approaching and she seemed sure this is it. So we followed her, and it turned out we WERE in the right place. 😀 Then we starting prepping for kitchen work. Aprons, and tying hair back, and washing hands. We made lots and lots of sandwiches 😀 We had a kinda-sorta assembly line going on. Sam buttered the bread, I stuck the ham and lettuce on, and Alex cut them. We made an AWFUL lot of sandwiches. Ran into a few problems when we ran out of meat, but then Albert said that he’d brought his turkey. Which, by the way, was FROZEN and needed to be defrosted. Then we had too much, so we put some on crackers instead. 😀 Which were very messy and hard to eat. Unfortunately, only about 20 people showed up for our delicious lunch.
We started playing with the whipped cream that Nicole had told us to buy. We asked everyone if they would like “whipped cream with fruit — I mean, fruit with whipped cream.” Heh. One guy consented. Then we started playing with it. Albert had some with his apple. 😀 It was hilarious. I tried some on popcorn. 😀 Then Albert ate his orange. With whipped cream. We had LOTS left. Whipped cream is very very very funny XD
Making sandwiches is fun too, I think. ^_^

That’s it. I lost. And all because, apparently, grep* time doesn’t include Daylight Savings. So I bid an hour late. I changed my timezone to Central, I guess that’s not CST, eh? *sigh* I can’t believe this. I just cannot believe it. I had everything all worked out. I KNEW I was going to win the auction. I KNEW it. I had more than enough points. But then, because of a silly little timezone difference, I lost. I lost, and now I am going to have to make a new team, and manually invite all the users that were on the old one. All because of a timezone difference. One number, one number, and that made all the difference. All the difference. I don’t know if I can bear to go back to grep* right now. I know it’s such a silly thing, but still…

You have to understand, it’s not the topic and the directory that I want. Only the team, only the team. I’m well aware I can make a new team and invite all the users. But, you know, it’s just not the same. I’m a very emotional person. And, well…

I’m not happy. Not at all. I promised TWO people I could get that team. TWO. And now, they’re going to be let down.

And because of what? Timezones.

That’s it. I think I’ve hit “burnout” mode. Finally. Procrastination and procrastination and procrastination gets you nowhere. Except pulling all-nighters. (Which I did not do.)

The story? Socials, of course, and that infamous man known as Louis Riel. I thought I was all set to go, just had to finish off the timeline and the cover sheet. I checked that I had my mandatory 10 sources. I counted… 9. Luckily I always borrow more books than I need, so I did wrote some notes from one book.

Alright, notes out of the way, now to settle down to do timelines. After a shaky start, I became very verbose, and finished these.

Cover sheet time. Checked criteria sheet for cover page. Saw (to my dismay) that timelines were to be MAXIMUM one page, point form. Mine were both double-sided. Decided to type notes so that I could cram more in.

By this time it’s a little past 11. Started working on cover sheet, then changed my mind about format and started over. Flipping through my notes SEVEN times so that I could ascertain the location of any notes referring to the themes.

Finished at a little past 12. Took my shower, ate a freezie, and went to sleep.

Wole up early the next morning to study French and Japanese.

So far finals haven’t been too bad, except maybe for SCIENCE, which was ABSOLUTELY evil, because some of the questions were wrong. And I mean WRONG. As in, none of the multiple choices (or guesses) were correct. That is extremely annoying and I felt like I wasted my time trying to figure it out. So I guessed. English was laughably easy, and French wasn’t too bad. Japanese was also laughably easy. Math was pretty much what I expected. (When in doubt, use the graphics calculator! ^o^) And so now, I only have a Socials in-class essay left.

Oh yes, and those notes? I got 49/50. ^______^ Not bad for a rush job.

There is a {{link http://www.sailormoon.org/crescent/cfs-php/finder.php?fileID=1759 grep auction}} going on. And guess what? Jen-hime has decided to lump the GD team with the bundle that she’s offering. -sigh- And now, as a GD member, I think it is my duty to bid for the team. Oh, if only she’d picked another team! Only, since it has a directory and everything, I wonder if the price will go higher than I expect… than I can afford. -_-;; I’m sorry. I shouldn’t be whining about this. But the GD team is like the one thing left of GD. I am really connected to it. When I think back, on all the times I was obsessing over it (yes, even more than grep*, or Neopets, at times), all the friends I made, how I finally broke free of my forum shyness, well, it’s really really important to me! The GD forum has long since gone down. (And, contrary to popular belief, I did read it until the end. I did. I just never posted.) I don’t know why I couldn’t create my own team. It wouldn’t be the same, I guess. Mega created this team: it was her club, her baby! It’s the team I want, not the directory or forum. I could care less about those. The TEAM is the important thing. >.> I wonder where everyone is now, actually. I still talk to Chibi Puu, and I recently just got in touch with Foxie. Laria has seemed to disappear off the face of the earth, and Andromaeda is showing off her absolutely rad web design skills. Mega has also seemed to disappeared — her membership at grep*’s been deleted, I think. And… who else? Oh, Avalon-sensei. She seemed to disappear too. Oh, and then there were a bunch of people who showed up once and then disappeared. Hmm, there was this one guy who kept breaking rules, too. Ah, darn it, I miss them all.

I take my online life FAAAAAAAR too seriously.
