That’s it. I think I’ve hit “burnout” mode. Finally. Procrastination and procrastination and procrastination gets you nowhere. Except pulling all-nighters. (Which I did not do.)
The story? Socials, of course, and that infamous man known as Louis Riel. I thought I was all set to go, just had to finish off the timeline and the cover sheet. I checked that I had my mandatory 10 sources. I counted… 9. Luckily I always borrow more books than I need, so I did wrote some notes from one book.
Alright, notes out of the way, now to settle down to do timelines. After a shaky start, I became very verbose, and finished these.
Cover sheet time. Checked criteria sheet for cover page. Saw (to my dismay) that timelines were to be MAXIMUM one page, point form. Mine were both double-sided. Decided to type notes so that I could cram more in.
By this time it’s a little past 11. Started working on cover sheet, then changed my mind about format and started over. Flipping through my notes SEVEN times so that I could ascertain the location of any notes referring to the themes.
Finished at a little past 12. Took my shower, ate a freezie, and went to sleep.
Wole up early the next morning to study French and Japanese.
So far finals haven’t been too bad, except maybe for SCIENCE, which was ABSOLUTELY evil, because some of the questions were wrong. And I mean WRONG. As in, none of the multiple choices (or guesses) were correct. That is extremely annoying and I felt like I wasted my time trying to figure it out. So I guessed. English was laughably easy, and French wasn’t too bad. Japanese was also laughably easy. Math was pretty much what I expected. (When in doubt, use the graphics calculator! ^o^) And so now, I only have a Socials in-class essay left.
Oh yes, and those notes? I got 49/50. ^______^ Not bad for a rush job.
