Random Anime Birthday: Minoru Kokubunji (Chobits)
“This is disgusting. If you have a heart you will sign this. If you see my name on it then obviously you don’t need to send this back to me.
A site that we were able to shut last year has returned. We have to try to shut it down again! A Japanese man in New York breeds and sells kittens that are called BONSAI CATS. That would sound cute, if it weren’t kittens that were put into little bottles after being given a muscle relaxant and then locked up for the rest of their lives!!
The cats are fed through a straw and have a small tube for their faeces (waste). The skeleton of the cat will take on the form of the bottle as the kitten grows. The cats never get the opportunity to move. They are used as original and exclusive souvenirs. These are the latest trends in New York, China, Indonesia and New Zealand. If you think you can handle it, view
Right.
Let’s set the record straight: There is no such thing as a bonsai kitten. Bonsai kittens could not exist. Think about it. They would die under this kind of treatment. Not only that, the website itself is laughable. Products are not priced, and there is no secure way to purchase them. What kind of commercial site would not have Paypal as an option? You don’t even need a business to offer Paypal. Granted, this isn’t exactly a “respectable business,” but still. The tone of the website is actually quite strange — “Bonsai Kitticulture permits from the U.S. government…” I highly doubt the American government would condone such an activity. “In fact, if you take a week-old kitten and throw it to the floor, it will actually bounce!” This doesn’t sound serious. At all. {{link http://www.snopes2.com/inboxer/outrage/bonsai.htm The entire thing is a hoax.}}
I admire you people who sent it on: your hearts are in the right place. Unfortunately you’re throwing yourselves against a cause which doesn’t exist.
Same goes for those letters which promise that so-and-so will get such-and-such amount of money if you forward it. Like I said, your hearts are in the right place. But it’s pretty difficult to track an email.
I don’t like forwards. They clutter up my inbox (which is low on space already) and waste my time.
So do everyone a favor and delete them.
