I am still alive! Yes I am!

Well, as I think I said two weeks ago, I went to Toronto. And now I am here to bore you all with the details of my trip.

As some of you are aware, it was my first plane ride. >>; I got to the airport far too early, so my dad and I sat down and I peppered him with questions about airplanes. Not that he’s been on one recently either. In any case, after a frantic afternoon/evening of packing, and trying to make sushi at the same time, we got on the plane. It was squished (>>; cheap tickets.) In any case, I found it rather uncomfortable. Since it was a red-eye flight, I tried to sleep. >>; Couldn’t. The movie was Chicago, and there were lots of flashy lights. Needless to say, I was utterly exhausted when we touched down in Toronto.

We had a few troubles getting into our room at the university, so we stored our luggage and were sent off to Tim Hortons (Toronto truly is the land of Tim Hortons). We wandered around TO for a nice long time, went to the Hockey Hall of Fame (which is too cool for words *_*) and then we returned to the university. Then we went upstairs and crashed. Well, I started writing French journals. Although there was a play going on on the field about St. Mary Magdalene, and all I heard was continous cries of “Lechery!! Lechery!” >>; Made it VERY difficult to concentrate.

The games themselves were all right. We didn’t win many. >>; However, we did meet cool people 😀 And I learned the coolest new card game! It’s called “Mao.” Ah, remind me to play it with you if you don’t know how to play.

We went up the CN Tower, too. Dude, is that thing tall. O_O; And Bobby had far too much fun jumping on the glass floor! That is not a good idea! In fact, it is a very very bad idea ><;; I became a bookie during the studio games! Although I didn’t take bets >>; Fun, though. 😀 You should have seen the predictions. At first it was only five entries or so, then it got to about twelve 😀

It was fun 😀 Although my English teacher essentially bit my head off for not having written a draft in Toronto >>; Sheesh.

Oh, and thank you to the one person who wished me a happy birthday. It was three days ago, just for the record. Whee >>;
