This must be the most random set of connections ever. It has to be, to lead to atheist goats.
So, some of the students at work have been building papercraft models in our spare time… I have a Kirby sitting on my computer monitor (and yes, we have spare time at work. It’s called the extra time you accumulate by coming into work at 8 and not leaving until 6.) Anyway, one of the guys stumbled across a Jesus papercraft and printed it for one of the girls. Following the link back, the site also has several other papercrafts, including one for an atheist goat.
The crafts are undeniably cute. Jesus even has little holes in his hands because, well, it’s after the Resurrection. (It’s a bit creepy if you don’t realize and you see that he’s smiling. … Yeah.) The little atheist goat (Mr. Gruff) holds a coffee mug with the motto “I ♥ Rand”. He, too, is cute, even if “Atheists are often very grumpy and bitter and will lash out at children or they may even try to trick you into neglecting God’s Word.” Children are encouraged to practice their witnessing on Mr. Gruff (since real atheists are too dangerous to be handled by kids.)
The “kidz” (“z” for “zealousness”) site is cute but creepy. The “creation science fun facts” make me despair for the future of science.
