I forgot to mention that last PE class we had the infamous “Langara Run.” You know, it’s one of those things that are supposed to test your physical fitness? I have no idea what the distance is, but it’s anywhere from 2.6 – 3.2 km. Yep. Fuun. It’s around a golf course… anyway, to give us some incentive, the teacher said she’d waive the six-lap run (another one of the fitness tests) if she thought we all gave our best in this run. 😀 Yay for teachers who are willing do that! Read for more details.

We get to the golf course (it’s a few blocks away from our school) and we proceed to stretch. Sorta. My friend and I are actually trying to figure out which run is easier. (North or South?) We pick North, simply because that’s the way we’re used to running. Of course, everyone else picks the opposite direction. This actually turns out to be a blessing in disguise because we practicaly have the trail to ourselves! 😀 No people to run around and no one who will run around you. So we start jogging. At first we talk a little but then we … well… stop. Soon, we start seeing people who are going in the opposite direction. We say “hi” to all of them and cheer them all on. I’m giddy. ^^; So then we jog…. and we jog some more…. and some more…. and then we see the teacher and start sprinting and I finish with a personal record time *_* Sure, it was 18:10, but hey, I’m happy and that’s all that matters. It’s good to run with a friend. At times we both wanted to walk but we were both afraid the other would keep going, so we kept running. ^__________^ I’m really quite happy! And I didn’t wake up stiff either!

I am SO happy….and i came in about five seconds after you, and that was so great! I even forgot to stop and eat the salmon berries, but that’s okay! lol! I’m sooooo happy with mytime, and we came no where near last! Yay for us! I’m still beaming over the whole event
