I believe this is what they call that “horrible sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach.” I could probably use some antacid right now. x_x; Which won’t actually help, since that reminds me of Chem. And I have a Chem test tomorrow. And while studying, I realized we now have no notes for electrolytic or electrochemical cells, since we included those in our lab books. Ohh dear. Speaking of lab books, my Physics lab marks are due.

See how it all just snowballs?

Tell me again why I allow myself to get suckered into study groups despite the fact that I have two presentations and a project due next week? This study group isn’t even NECESSARY! What I’m doing is patently USELESS! I’m slapping it together at the last minute and frankly I don’t feel like doing English tomorrow morning. Quite honestly, I have better things to do. Arrrgh. Not to mention it is Mah Jong night YET AGAIN at my house and it’s quite difficult to work.

Oh, not to mention my cousin somehow screwed up the “on” button on my computer. It’s kinda loose now. It still works, though. I have no idea how she did it. She’s supposed to be GOOD with computers. X_x;;

Frustration is just streaming from my fingers and into the keyboard. >.<

I’m listening to Hacken Lee’s “Tall Girl” (I am probably the only one in the whole world who could translate it like that >.>; I’m told its true title is “The Story of the Six-Foot Tall Girl (Whom I Love).” Er…. I like mine better) right now. It’s a rather interesting song if you don’t think about the lyrics. Except it has weird shooting star sounds in the middle, and that’s just odd. Actually, the whole song is odd. Especially when you listen to the lyrics. Which I’m not going to attempt to translate at all, since it’s really, really odd. And you’ll all start wondering when I started listening to such wacky music.

Spent the afternoon at an oral surgeon’s office, waiting. Consultation, you see.

The danger with any oral surgeon (this is the second one I’ve seen) is that no matter what you’re going to have done, they will introduce the concept of “cosmetic surgery.” See, I’m just in there to correct my bite. (I have underbite.) But noooo! He goes on about these “options” (which I’m really not interested in) such as er… cheekbone augmentation and chin something or the other and para-something (it’s the area next to your nose.) And all through this I’m nodding politely, while I learn such things as “You’ll never have a round face, by the way.” Er… gee. Really? Do you think I’m somehow hoping for a round face? (He was comparing me to my mother, who has a round face.) Sorry, Doc, but I want you to fix my jaws, not mess around with the rest of my face. The best quote, though? “It’s not like plastic surgery. She’ll still look like herself and her friends will still recognize her. It’s just trying to bring a bit more balance to the face. It’s more reconstructive surgery than plastic surgery.” Er, excuse me? Doesn’t the use of the term “reconstructive surgery” make me sound like I’ve been in some kind of freak accident and need this surgery to look like I used to? Doesn’t it imply that there’s something wrong with my face in the first place? Argh. Not to mention those “options” cost a hefty chunk of cash. If I were to get all three, then it’d bring the total up another eight thousand or so. Which is not my idea of careful spending.

All quotes from here.

Yes, I will be looking at this article and applying my own experience. >.>;

I have my French oral exam tomorrow. At 1:15 pm. That means…. about 16 hours from now. And, in the classic procrastination style, I’ve left my prep to the last minute. I think I’ll forget about all those stupid legal terms and cut to the heart of the matter (my topic is the language laws in Québec.)

Oh well. While every single piece of French I’ve ever learned flees my mind… “JE VAIS MOURIR !” At least I can scream that while I forget how to say everything else. It might win me some pity points, after all.

*returns to raving and humming random French songs*

This is a public service announcement.

The owner of this blog is currently wandering deep in the realm of fangirl-dom. Because it’s her first foray into foreign territory, we are unsure how she will react and if she will ever be the same after she returns. If she returns. *cough* But we’re confident she’ll come back of her own accord. She has a short attention span, after all. And aren’t all of these fangirl things just fads?

“EEEEEEEEEE!!! EEEEEEEE!!!! EEEEEEEE!!”

Ah, there goes one now.

Yes! It’s Leap Day! And you all know what that means! That it can also be called Sadie Hawkins Day? No. Actually, according to the editorial in the Sun on Saturday, y’all owe me a silk dress. By the way, I would like a dark-coloured one. I don’t think I could pull off a powder pink one off very nicely. Remember: **hell hath no fury like a woman scorned but not reimbursed**.

Sadly, instead of chasing boys around and collecting a huge amount of silk dresses (see? I’m planning for grad!), I am stuck working on my History Internal Assessment. *sigh* It’s not going very well. I’m not working much, that’s the main problem. I spent most of yesterday fiddling with database stuff, and then I er… read parts of my books last night. *whimpers* And my brother needed the computer all this morning, to work on some Chem project with his friends (who seem to be deaf, judging by how loud they need the TV to be).

I have just come to the realization that I lead a boring, boring life. I need to get out more.

Currently procrastinating:
* Chem lab write up
* French homework
* History reading

See? Four things at once! I guess you could call me a multi-tasker… but that’s too efficient sounding.

Yesterday we had our cooking class, which (un)fortunately was not as full of brainwashing as it was last time. I don’t think that any of the advice we were given was explicitly bad… eating a rainbow of foods (Skittles!) probably won’t cure your eczema, but it’s not like it’s going to kill you either(hopefully.) And that was good hummus! Although that pate stuff was a little blah. And the juice…? Or, should I say, “juice”? Pretty…. unappetizing. So who’s game for next time?

And hidden under the more link is fun fun alphabet survey!
