Why do I have a super happy sparkle dance, you ask? To tell you the truth, I don’t know. I wouldn’t know.

But I got my grad dress today ^_^ And even though it’s not super-fancy, it was a good deal and it’s almost exactly what I wanted. (Although I only knew what colour I wanted… still!) It’s actually a little too big (better than too small), although it’s almost exactly the right length. I just need to get a few alterations done… Really quite happy with it though.

Maybe I’ll make a little sprite to give everyone an idea… hrm… now THERE’s an idea…

Learned some interesting things today while registering for IB exams.

One: There is a Cantonese B course! I wanna take that course! >D Although, you know, I’d probably get a better mark in French… v_v Now that is what I call sad.

Two: IB has designed a completely wacky system for determining whether or not you are awarded your diploma. You need to get such and such points from such and such subject…. yeah… right… *rolls eyes* I’m going to try not to worry about that.

Three: Why is there a need for a separate philosophy course when we have TOK? I mean, honestly… -_-;

Four: Why couldn’t I have taken math as an anticipated course? *sniff* Then I would have never been sucked into the hell that is Mathematics H[el]L. Oh yeah, that’s right, I couldn’t fit it in my schedule. *muttermutter*

Indochine is a rather odd band. But they have an interesting sound.

I’m really rather excited about our new French project (which will soon be assigned), which is to review an album of our choice. Not surprisingly, I want to review a Maaya album (*_*_*_*_*_*_*) but as the only album I have my hands on (\Easy Listening\) is a mini-album with only six songs…. Well… I think \Nikopachi\ would be a better choice, but I still don’t have my hands on THAT! And that’s because SM (of Crystal Mall!) doesn’t have it yet, which makes me mad. -_-; They DO have \Lucy\ and \Dive\ though. But I can’t decide which one I like better and should buy. \Dive\ has more of a melancholic feeling, I believe (I guess this from the cover art) but \Lucy\ has a variety. And, you know, variety is the spice of life. Of course, there is another album coming out in December, titled \Shonen Alice\ [Boy Alice]. Of course, there always remains the option of downloading, but ah well… maybe I’ll borrow one of Iris’ Hikaru Utada albums.

Completely messed up my English commentary. No structure. Rambled a lot. Our class easily got one of the most difficult poems in the package. *sigh* I was hoping for another one, but at least we didn’t get the one I really disliked.

No school tomorrow! That means heading off for some X-rays and then going shopping ^_^ As well as working on that Korean essay, which I can only seem to do once I’m at the university library. Argh. ~_~

I need a laptop.

My parents apparently missed an IB parents info meeting tonight. Well, what they don’t know won’t hurt them. Right? At least I don’t have to deal with “Work on your EE… Work on your EE….” Speaking of which, my supervisor seemed quite pleased with my truncated outline. ^_^ So now I get to slack off until the next meeting! xD

I almost got sucked into the Math HL class again today. Luckily I escaped before the door was closed on me forever. Although Mr. N did later catch me sitting by my locker, saying, “You’ve been out here all this time? Think about all the fun you missed in my class!” Uh…. sure. Because I like being tortured with math. Besides, I’m quite happy in my Math SL class and I can actually get an IB diploma this way @_@

I have Joey Yung’s “Heartbeat” stuck in my head. It’s not even a very good song, and it’s in Mandarin (because, you know, at least I understand Cantonese), and I don’t know why it’s stuck there!

*harumph* Suspicions were confirmed, I was right, why did I ever believe you in the first place, it seemed right, why did I doubt myself, does it really matter, and who really cares anyway?

Right. So for all of you who DON’T want a cryptic entry: I didn’t get to 3500 words. I got to 3000. My computer didn’t want to read the stupid disk, which basically means that I just lost 3 hours of “work” on my EE. Those were 400 words I was very proud of. Now I had to revert back to my ultra-horrendous draft and… Oi >.O That was really, really not fun. Non-existent transitions, ARGH! I want to try to email the file to myself (saved it on the network at school) and get some of those words back. Because some of them were gold! PURE GOLD! (pure fools’ gold ??;;)

The presentation today was OK. I wasn’t completely satisfied with it but then I never am when it comes to presentations. Although I know have more info about Platonism than I’ll ever care about in my entire life >.O Anyone want a crash course?

I shall post a real entry later, when I finish my draft of that evil thing known as EE. I still have 800 words to go to get to my goal of 3500. Oi. It’s going to be a long, long night. And I still won’t have a conclusion. Oi oi oi oi oi. This is going to be very, very bad. Oh well. I’m still glad I did an English paper, since it’s probably the easiest one. (Although sometimes I wonder… did I get into IB just to do the least work possible and get the diploma…?)

In other news, two of my favourite songs of late have been Maaya Sakamoto’s “Kodoku” and Chihiro Onitsuka’s “Beautiful Fighter.” Haven’t been able to find a translation for the latter. My Japanese isn’t good enough to attempt a translation, anyway. “Kodoku”, on the other hand, is quite easily found on {{link http://www.animelyrics.com/ AL.com}}.

I forgot it was Friday today >>;

**1. Do you watch sports? If so, which ones?**
Yes. Kinda. Not really. Ice hockey. Figure skating. Show jumping. Golf is the most boring game in the world to watch; the same goes for baseball. And I don’t understand football. I also watch lacrosse once in a while.

**2. What/who are your favorite sports teams and/or favorite athletes?**
Do I have to answer this question? The Canucks 😀

**3. Are there any sports you hate?**
YES! And they are many! To watch AND play: golf and baseball. Both are incredibly boring. I don’t care HOW much you try to convince me otherwise, I’ve tried golf, I don’t like it. I don’t need to try baseball to know I won’t like it. Footballs like to bounce off my head. Um… Cheerleading is not a sport >>;

**4. Have you ever been to a sports event?**
A few. Several hockey games: one minor league, one NHL (exhibition ^^;;), and one women’s hockey game. Beyond that… *thinks* I don’t think so.

**5. Do/did you play any sports (in school or other)? How long did you play?**
Um, in elementary school I got dragged into a lot of things, including badminton, soccer, and track. Dunno how that happened. I took up curling last year xD I’m oh-so-Canadian!

{{popup agendaback.jpg agendaback 200×333}}Back Cover

Went ahead and designed a back cover, to match the front. Tidussssssssss~!

You people wouldn’t believe how frustrating it is to do without internet or a phone. T_T When I got back home on Tuesday, my mom said the phone was dead. No phone means no internet, since I’m on dial-up. Rather inconvenient. Okay, I lie. Very inconvenient. I was only able to talk to people in short bursts on the cellphone (can’t rack up too many minutes on that thing!) I called customer service on the cell, only to be told that I had a ten to twenty minute wait ahead of me. >>; So I asked Bobby to phone, although he couldn’t stay on hold for that long either >>; I finally managed to get hold of a phone that worked and was sitting on hold for FORTY MINUTES! FORTY! Argh, how frustrating. How ironic, that if your phone is dead you have to phone the phone company to let them know.

The problem turned out to be a broken… something, which was rectified quickly enough. But still! It was endlessly frustrating. Although the house was unusually quiet o-o;;

Being cut off from the Internet for a few days is tolerable, but not if you take my phone away as well >>;

{{popup agenda.jpg agenda 200×308}}Agenda Cover

I designed an agenda cover on my computer the other day, and this is the result. (No, my school’s name is not illegible blocks, I’d like a little privacy, that’s all.) This was a lot of fun but for some reason the printout came out a LOT lighter >>; Erm, in any case, I need to design a back cover now, and I think Tidus would work quite well, but do you know how HARD it is to find good-quality pictures of him where he doesn’t look like a dork?

My English commentary was today and suffice to say that it was a total and complete diaster. ??;; I had so much more stuff to say! It was all there on my outline! *sniff* A lot of the stuff she mentioned later I had talked about in my transcript… *sniff* I didn’t even get to use the word “aphorism”! And I was nervous and shaking and I basically rambled on for ten minutes (was it even that long?) and and and…. it was a bunch of rambling, and didn’t make much sense. I would be lucky to get a 15 out of 20. *sniff* Ah well, that’s what the bonus marks are for, eh?

Queens came to school today to talk about themselves. It seems like a nice place, but I still need to sort out what I’m going into at university. Arts? Science? *sigh* I wanna be a zamboni driver!!

Hrm, {{link http://www.pioneerproject.net/ Reina}} said that she was hungry for some gossip, so here I go~!

But first I’ll do the Friday Five.

**1. What vehicle do you drive?**
??;; People, I don’t even have a learner’s permit. I’m afraid of drving.

**2. How long have you had it?**
My non-existent vehicle? A total of 17.4 years.

**3. What is the coolest feature on your vehicle?**
It’s automagically invisible!

**4. What is the most annoying thing about your vehicle?**
It only has room for one person: me.

**5. If money were no object, what vehicle would you be driving right now?**
I don’t know much about cars. ._. A Ferrari?

Oh, St. George’s won their Smart Ask game 😀 (Not that there was any doubt, of course.) Fun stuff, fun stuff, I have half a mind to phone Stephen to congratulate him but um well…. ??;;

Um, right, lessee… in terms of school these weeks are going to be really, really bad. There’s so much work!
